Necessary technology
Necessary technology operates and protects the website, submits quote requests, remembers cookie choices and prevents abuse. It is active where reasonably necessary. The property-address field can send the partial address through our server to Google Places when configured, or query the City of Calgary Open Data Parcel Address dataset, to return Calgary suggestions; this is used for the address feature and route review, not advertising measurement. You can continue with a complete address entered manually if suggestions are unavailable. Google Places use is subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. City results contain information licensed under the Open Government Licence – City of Calgary. If you choose the automatic lawn estimator, the requested map uses City of Calgary aerial imagery delivered through Esri ArcGIS; the tile request can disclose your IP address, browser details and the approximate map area being viewed to Esri, but it is not used by us for advertising measurement.
Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Analytics. Google may receive an online identifier, IP address, browser and device details, approximate location, referring page and interactions with this site. We use aggregated reports to improve the site.
Advertising measurement
Meta Pixel loads only after you choose Advertising measurement. Meta may receive identifiers, browser and device details, referring page and site actions so we can measure Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Google and Meta may process information in the United States and other countries under their privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for our outside-Canada provider notice.
Your choices
Optional categories are off until you accept them. Use “Cookie choices” in the footer to accept, reject or withdraw a choice. If a selected tag is already running, the page reloads after withdrawal so that tag is no longer loaded. Future pages keep the saved choice. You may also delete existing cookies in browser settings.
